DDOSC Welcomes Benchmarking Visit from NBSC

Davao de Oro State College hosted a delegation from the Northern Bukidnon State College for a benchmarking activity on February 7, 2025, at the DDOSC Main Campus.

Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay, DDOSC President, led the welcoming committee and provided an overview of the key offices within the college.

The benchmarking visit focused on the Research and Development Division, Extension Services Division, Production Services Division, Quality Assurance Unit, Internationalization Unit, and Gender and Development Unit.

Dr. Daniel S. Lorongan, NBSC Quality Assurance Office Head, spearheaded the NBSC contingent, which included Elaine Marie J. Omhina, Mia Marisol Mapulong, Glenn A. Nabangue, Clarie Ann Cardente, and Blessed Jane Quino.

Moreover, the delegation visited the individual offices, where DDOSC staff showcased their best practices and shared insights into their day-to-day operations.

This provided NBSC representatives with an in-depth look at DDOSC’s operational strategies and innovative approaches to achieving its short- and long-term goals.

Later, an open forum was held to provide a platform for active dialogue and the exchange of ideas where the participants discussed challenges, solutions, and opportunities for collaboration,

During the closing program, Dr. Matunhay expressed her gratitude to the NBSC delegation for choosing DDOSC as their benchmarking partner.

Furthermore, she emphasized the value of such visits in strengthening institutional relationships and promoting shared growth.

The event also marked a significant moment for both institutions, as NBSC is now led by former DDOSC President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE.
