DDOSC, 2 Crim Grads feted by PRC XI

Davao City – The Criminology Department of Davao de Oro State College emerged as one of the top achievers during the Awarding Ceremony hosted by the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region XI on April 27, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, SM Lanang.

DDOSC clinched first place in Region XI for Category C (51–100 examinees) with an impressive 91.57% passing rate, securing ninth place nationally in the February 2025 Criminology Licensure Examination.

Adding to this milestone, two DDOSC graduates, Joyce Fe A. Libradilla and Mary Rose B. Libaton, were recognized as Regional Excellence Awardees for earning ratings of at least 89%.

Meanwhile, program head Maida Mae B. Calpo, MSCrim, and faculty member Diosdado H. Cruz represented DDOSC at the event, which also celebrated the achievements of the College’s 76 new criminologists.

DDOSC President Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay congratulated the passers and awardees, emphasizing that the recognition reflects the hard work, commitment, and collaborative efforts of the Criminology faculty, students, and stakeholders in shaping our newly-minted criminologists.
