Hon. Desiderio R. Apag III, D.Eng., PCPE, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education and the Chairperson of the Davao de Oro State College Board of Trustees, administered the oath-taking of the newly appointed DDOSC Student Federation President Hon. Jomar M. Hagonoy on July 18, 2025.

 

The oath-taking ceremony took place during the 49th DDOSC Board of Trustees Meeting, held at the Bukidnon State University Board Room in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

 

Additionally, this event officially marks the beginning of Hagonoy’s term as the federation’s highest student leader.

 

In attendance were DDOSC President Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay, Board Secretary V Jay-R R. Tayaban, and other members of the DDOSC BOT.

 

Hon. Hagonoy, a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship student from the DDOSC Main Campus, succeeds former Student Federation Representative Decery Jay Diano.

 

In a statement, Hon. Hagonoy expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and vowed to serve the student body with dedication, transparency, and integrity.

He also assured the student body of his commitment to promoting student welfare and strengthening student participation in institutional development.
