DDOSC Planning Unit Leads Crafting of Stratigic Development Plan 2026-2032

Davao de Oro State College, through the Planning Unit, convened members of the Strategic Development Plan (SDP) Technical Working Group (TWG) for the presentation and review of consolidated outputs for the SDP 2026-2032 on July 21, 2025, at the DDOSC Audio-Visual Room.
The TWG presented drafts for the nine key components of the new plan, including Planning Environment; Strategic Development Framework; Administration and Resource Management; Curriculum and Instruction; Research, Development, and Innovation; Extension Services; Production Services; Plan Implementation; and Monitoring and Evaluation.
The activity aims to present and review the consolidated outputs per component of the SDP and gather feedback for enhancement prior to final integration.
The upcoming SDP 2026-2032 is designed to build upon the accomplishments of the College’s 2019-2025 plan while addressing new challenges in the dynamic landscape of higher education.
Furthermore, it ensures that institutional goals remain responsive and relevant by aligning with major development frameworks, including AmBisyon Natin 2040, the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028, and the Davao Regional Development Plan 2023-2028.
Meanwhile, Planning Unit Head Engr. Mozart Constantine N. Quiblat stressed the importance of the SDP in steering the College’s long-term direction.
“This Strategic Development Plan is a vision map that reflects our collective aspirations for DDOSC and outlines how we intend to deliver transformative, inclusive, and future-ready education in the years ahead,” he said.
Following this initial presentation, the TWG is set to hold consultations with institutional planning experts, conduct a series of revisions, and finalize the draft for submission to the DDOSC Board of Trustees for approval.
