DDOSC, LTO Region XI partner for S.A.F.E. Schools Project

In a concerted effort to promote road safety and improve access to essential government services, the Davao de Oro State College and the Land Transportation Office Region XI (LTO RO-XI), through the LTO District Office – Davao de Oro, launched the S.A.F.E (Strengthening Advocacy for Future Educators and Drivers) Schools Project today, August 8, 2025, at the DDOSC Covered Court.

This two-day initiative aims to raise public awareness on responsible driving and compliance with road safety standards.

The activity, formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement between DDOSC and the LTO, brings together select frontline services of the LTO directly to the community, making it easier to access vital transportation-related services.

“This initiative highlights our collective responsibility in ensuring safer roads for everyone,” said Mr. Angelo R. Tiongson, Public Utilities Regulation Officer I.

Additionally, the participants had the opportunity to engage with LTO personnel, attend the in-person road safety seminar, and process various LTO transactions such as student permit applications, vehicle registration assistance, and license renewal inquiries.
