In celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), teaching and non-teaching personnel from Davao de Oro State College took part in the PCSA Fun Run earlier today, September 7, 2025, at the Davao del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex, Provincial Government Center, Mankilam, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

 

The activity, organized by the Civil Service Commission Region XI, gathered hundreds of participants from National Government Agencies, State Universities and Colleges, private institutions, and running enthusiasts across the region.

 

Leading the DDOSC representatives were Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Gloryjean C. Altamera, Montevista Branch Director Rieshia P. Vale, and Human Resources Management Unit Head Reah C. Niog.

 

The 27-person contingent took part in the 1k, 3k, and 5k categories, representing the College in the spirit of camaraderie and wellness.

 

“This is our institution’s way of standing in solidarity with our fellow civil servants across the nation as we celebrate the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary,” said Dr. Altamera in a message.

 

The Fun Run is one of the highlights of the nationwide month-long celebration of the 125th PCSA.

 

Meanwhile, at DDOSC, the line-up of activities for the PCSA includes a bloodletting drive, sports competitions, a bazaar, a medical mission, and other meaningful engagements designed to honor the dedication and service of our employees and stakeholders.
