QAU caps college-wide ISO awareness seminar series

In an effort to enhance employee awareness of its quality management standards, Davao de Oro State College, through the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU), held a College-wide ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) Awareness Seminar on September 17, 2025, at the DDOSC Main Campus Audio-Visual Room.
Themed “Bridging Gaps, Building a Quality Culture,” the seminar aimed to orient both new and long-serving employees on the fundamentals of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
Nova Mae B. Nasol, Head of the QAU, emphasized the importance of awareness regarding the college’s ISO processes in sustaining a culture of quality throughout the institution’s various offices.
The seminar saw participation from a total of 497 staff members, including both teaching and non-teaching personnel across all branches.
This initiative is part of the QA Unit’s mission to facilitate training and professional development opportunities for faculty, staff, and management in quality assurance principles, processes, and tools, while promoting a shared understanding of quality standards.
