BLGU Coronobe, DDOSC sign MOA for PROGRAM INSPIRE

Maragusan, Davao de Oro – September 15, 2025 – The Davao de Oro State College (DdOSC) formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Barangay Local Government Unit of Coronobe, Maragusan, Davao de Oro to implement the PROGRAM INSPIRE (Integrated Sustainable Program in Rural Environment): A Capacity Building for the Community.

The MOA signing, held at the BLGU Coronobe Hall, signifies a strengthened partnership between the academic institution and the local community towards advancing sustainable development, rural empowerment, and community-based capacity building programs.

During the ceremony, Mr. Nick Alvin G. Asidoy, MEXEd, Extension Services Section In-Charge, delivered a talk on “Deepening of Partnership thru MOA,” highlighting the importance of shared responsibilities in ensuring the program’s success. Hon. Exequiel R. Catotce Jr., representing the BLGU, also delivered his Support Message, affirming Barangay Coronobe’s strong commitment to this collaborative endeavor.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Jay Mark D. Bantayan, MSc, Branch Director of DDOSC-Maragusan Branch, and April Rose Dianne Abella-Villaro, DBM, Section Head of the Extension Services Division, alongside the Barangay Council of Coronobe, the Project Leader, and the Lead Extensionist.

This collaboration reinforces DdOSC’s commitment to its extension mandate-bringing knowledge, skills, and innovation beyond the walls of the institution, directly into communities that need them most.
