DDOSC undergoes two-day ISO 9001:2015 Recertification Audit
With its steadfast commitment to quality and excellence, Davao de Oro State College once again opened its doors to a rigorous ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Recertification Audit conducted by external auditors from Worldwide Quality Assurance (WQA) Philippines on October 27–28, 2025, at the DDOSC Main Campus.
Held every three years, the recertification audit serves as a quality checkpoint, an assurance that the College continues to meet international standards in its management systems and operations, ensuring that its processes remain effective, transparent, and aligned with the institution’s mission of delivering quality and transformative education.
Beyond compliance exercise, it reflects DDOSC’s ongoing pursuit to institutionalize efficiency, transparency, and continual improvement in all facets of service delivery.
In her opening remarks, Quality Assurance Unit Head Ms. Nova Mae B. Nasol emphasized the importance of continuous improvement and shared accountability across all offices. “Quality is not just a goal, it’s our collective mindset,” Nasol stated.
Meanwhile, DDOSC SUC President Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay, in her message during the opening meeting, highlighted that maintaining ISO certification is a reflection of the College’s integrity and its commitment to the people it serves. “Our pursuit of this recertification is more than a compliance requirement,” Dr. Matunhay said. “It is a reaffirmation of who we are as a learning institution anchored in quality, grounded in purpose, and driven by service.”
Leading the audit team is Ms. Nellie G. Ang, joined by Ms. Kristine U. Villaruel and Mr. Homero Marcelo H. Alcon, seasoned auditors from WQA Philippines, an accredited certification body known for delivering multi-sector management system certifications to organizations across industries and scales.
Throughout the two-day engagement, the auditors will assess the College’s adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards, examining systems, documentation, and practices that demonstrate DDOSC’s commitment to providing quality education and responsive public service.
