DdOSC strengthens CAT with 2-day training workshop
Davao de Oro State College, through the Appraisal and Testing Section (ATS), held its two-day Capability Building Sessions for the DDOSC College Admission Test (CAT) Administrators’ Team on November 17–18, 2025 at the Main Campus Testing Room.
The activity, led by ATS Head Prospero B. Genosas III, MP, RPm, RPsy, CHRA, gathered qualified and licensed personnel for the administration of the CAT, and interested employees from all branches of the institution.
Furthermore, the initiative aimed to enhance the team’s operational proficiency, ethical integrity, and emergency preparedness to ensure a seamless and high-quality implementation of the CAT across DdOSC campuses.
In her opening remarks, SUC President Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay emphasized that “a credible, compassionate, and future-ready admission system begins with well-equipped and ethically grounded testing administrators.”
Day 1 featured lectures on Rapport Building by Ms. Vivilyn Porlares, Test Anatomy by Ms. Precious May Corria, and Disaster and Emergency Resilience and Readiness by Mr. Jayvee Peteres.
Day 2 continued with discussions on Data Privacy by Mr. Glenn R. Bolaño, Conflict and Multiple Relationships by Ms. Lei Rhoda, Specific Roles and Designation by Mr. Prospero B. Genosas III, capped with post-tests and evaluation.
