DdOSC Students’ Day 2026 ignites campus spirit
The Davao de Oro State College, through the Student Affairs and Services Division and College Student Council (CSC) of the Main Campus, spearheaded the celebration of Students’ Day today, March 31, 2026, at the DdOSC Main Campus Activity Center.
Bringing together students from various departments, the event delivered a vibrant showcase of unity, talent, and leadership, anchored on the theme “Empowering Students, Celebrating Unity.”
The program commenced with a morning segment focused on governance and transparency highlighting the vital role of student participation in building a cohesive academic community while recognizing the contributions and achievements of student-led organizations.
CSC Vice Governor Gil Jun Pregua delivered the welcome address, setting an encouraging tone for the day’s activities.
Meanwhile, Students Council and Organization Section Head John Mark G. Javar, MAEd, emphasized the importance of student engagement and collective action in shaping a responsive and inclusive campus environment.
CSC Governor Jomar Hagonoy then presented the Governor’s Report, outlining key milestones, challenges, and future directions of the council.
The celebration continued with a lineup of interactive competitions that energized both participants and the audience.
Activities such as Minute to Win It, Quartet, Acapella, Poster Making, Logo Making, and Larong 90’s promoted creativity, teamwork, and school spirit among DdOSCians.
In the afternoon, the event shifts into a dynamic showcase of personality and performance-based contests, including That’s My Tomboy, Sexy Babe, and Campus Crush.
The festivities will culminate later tonight with MTV Spoof, Retro Dance Contest, and Runway Model, along with raffle draws for participants.
Representatives from five academic departments: Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Bachelor of Secondary Education, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, Bachelor of Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, take center stage to demonstrate confidence, charisma, and camaraderie.
