Pres. Matunhay, DdOSC officials join 39th AACCUP Annual Nat’l Conference 2026

Davao de Oro State College President Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay participated in the 39th AACCUP Annual National Conference and General Assembly, alongside State Universities and Colleges (SUC) leaders nationwide on March 24-26, 2026, at the Century Park Hotel in Malate, Manila.

Organized by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), the three-day conference gathered education leaders, policymakers, and practitioners to advance quality assurance (QA) in higher education.

Anchored on the theme “Advancing QA: Research, Science, and Technology for Transformative Education and Sustainable Development,” the event emphasized innovation, collaboration, and policy-driven reform.

The conference aimed to strengthen national QA systems in education and research, harness science and technology to enhance teaching and institutional performance, and foster collaboration among academic and industry stakeholders.

By bringing together key players in higher education, the assembly served as a platform for exchanging best practices, aligning institutional strategies, and reinforcing commitments to transformative and sustainable education.

Accompanying Dr. Matunhay were Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Gloryjean C. Altamera and Quality Assurance Unit Head Nova Mae Bago-Nasol.
