DDOSC MINTS 44 NEWLY PROMOTED FACULTY MEMBERS

Forty four (44) faculty members from across the four campuses of Davao de Oro State College rejoiced today as they enter the new year promoted to new ranks ranging from Instructor II to Associate Professor V.

This was announced during the ceremonial signing held at the DDOSC Board Room after the successful completion of the 1st cycle of Faculty Position Reclassification for the Period 2019-2023, as per the guidelines outlined in the DBM-CHED Joint Circular No. 3, Series of 2022.

Under the dynamic leadership of the DDOSC administration and in adherence with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) guidelines, the faculty reclassification process was executed meticulously. The comprehensive evaluation of faculty members considered various criteria, including teaching performance, research output, community service, and professional development.

The successful implementation and approval of the faculty reclassification results were formalized through the Ceremonial Signing of the Final Individual Summary Sheets (ISS) of REC Evaluation Results for the Faculty Position Reclassification held at the College Board Room, DDOSC, Main Campus.

Dr. Christie Jean V. Ganiera, CESE, the College President, expressed delight at the outcome of the reclassification process, marking yet another milestone for the College; the elevation of these 44 faculty members to higher ranks reflects our commitment to nurturing and retaining top-tier talent within our institution.

The success of the 1st cycle of reclassification underscores the College’s dedication to upholding the highest standards of education and creating an environment conducive to scholarly pursuits. This achievement positions the College as a beacon of academic distinction and sets the stage for continued advancements in the years to come.
