QA Unit beefs up DDOSC processes in ISO QMS Manual Review

In an effort to elevate the quality of services offered by Davao de Oro State College, the Quality Assurance Unit recently conducted a rigorous four-day review of the Quality Management System (QMS) Manual at the Congressional Office, Compostela on December 7, 2023 and January 15, 23, and 24, 2024.

The primary objective of this initiative was to meticulously scrutinize and reassess the policies and procedures governing the implementation of the College’s QMS. The focus was on determining the currency of these policies and procedures, and any identified outdated components were slated for prompt revision.

The QA Unit further stressed that through this review, DDOSC can ensure that its commitment to continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.

Meanwhile, this event gathered the ISO team consisting of the Management Review Committee and the process owners from all campuses to thoroughly review their System Controls Procedure (SCP), which are procedures deemed necessary to ensure compliance with clause requirements in the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, College President, expressed gratitude to the QA Unit for spearheading this initiative and underscored the critical importance of upholding quality assurance standards to not only meet but exceed expectations.
