DDOSC ISO auditors undergo ISO training

In preparation for the highly anticipated 1st Internal Quality Audit, Davao de Oro State College, through the Quality Assurance Unit and Internal Audit Unit, spearheaded the two-day Internal Quality Auditors’ Training on ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management System) today at the DDOSC Audio-Visual Room.

Participated by all designated ISO auditors across the campuses, the training aims to equip them with the knowledge and skills to effectively audit and ensure the College’s compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards.

Dr. Maria Gloria R. Lugo, an esteemed expert in this field, served as the resource speaker as she laid out the fundamental principles, requirements, and auditing techniques prescribed in the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

“This training is a crucial step towards ensuring that our internal auditors can effectively identify areas for improvement and contribute to the College’s continuous pursuit of excellence,” said QAU head Nova Mae Bago.

“With this, DDOSC can guarantee its compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards and maintain its commitment to delivering high-quality education and services.”

As DDOSC gears up for the 1st Internal Quality Audit scheduled for May 27-31, 2024, and the subsequent ISO Surveillance Audit slated for September 2024, the successful completion of this training marks a significant milestone.

This investment into the professional development of internal auditors exemplifies DDOSC’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and ensuring a culture of excellence across all its campuses.
