DDOSC ROTC cadets excel at RAATI 2024 with stellar 98.05% score

Davao de Oro State College’s (DDOSC) Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) unit etched its name in glory, achieving an impressive 98.05% overall score at the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) for the academic year 2023-2024. The event, held on May 16 at the Compostela Sports Complex, witnessed the unit’s unwavering dedication and exceptional performance.

Colonel Romeo N. Bautista III, Infantry, General Staff Corps of the Philippine Army, and Chairman of the RAATI Team, commended the DDOSC ROTC unit for its remarkable feat. Under the steadfast leadership of Battalion Commander Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Chamie M. Ang, the unit secured the highest score among universities and colleges in the region to date.

Representing DDOSC President Dr. Christie Jean V. Ganiera, Atty. Mil L. Lorono, head of the college’s Legal Unit, addressed the cadets with words of pride and inspiration. “As this event concludes, I remind you to uphold our core values of excellence, integrity, and solidarity. Be the leaders DDOSC will take pride in and the ones who will lead the Philippines towards a golden future,” Atty. Lorono emphasized.

The event witnessed a display of camaraderie and collective effort, with participation from the DDOSC Montevista branch cadets, Maco de Oro College, and the Small Unit Tactics team from Legacy College of Compostela.

Sgt. Ronne Jay L. Quiao, a former Corps Commander of the DDOSC ROTC unit, expressed his immense pride in the unit’s achievements, reflecting the program’s enduring legacy of excellence.

Mr. Johnmark B. Lapuz, MAEd, the NSTP Coordinator, and faculty members from the Criminology Department graced the event, showcasing their unwavering support for the ROTC cadets.
