Student Orgs Lock Horns in Club Day Celebration

Davao de Oro State College roared with excitement as Student Organizations from the DDOSC Main Campus clashed in several creative competitions during the Club Day 2025 on August 29, 2025, at the DDOSC Activity Center.

Dubbed “Clubs in Action: Uniting Golden Talents, Building Connections,” the event turned the spotlight on DDOSC’s diverse student organizations, showcasing unity, camaraderie, and the boundless creativity of the Golden community.

Opening the festivities, the Head of the College Student Council and Organization Unit, John Mark G. Javar, MAEd, emphasized the role of student organizations in fostering engagement, leadership, and community building.

The energy peaked as the student organizations competed in thrilling contests that kept the crowd on fire, including Cheers and Yells, Video Synthesis, and Table Skirting.

After the dust of competition settled, the League of Secondary Educators bagged first place in Table Skirting, with the Warriors Against Gender Inequality finishing as first runner-up.

Meanwhile, in the Video Synthesis, the Guild of Enthusiastic, Nurtured, and Excellent Students (GENES) snagged the crown, followed by Koro de Oro.

Lastly, for the Cheers and Yells, the Bachelor of Science in Criminology secured first place, with the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture finishing second.

As of the second semester of Academic Year 2024-2025, DDOSC is home to 23 officially recognized student organizations.
