DDOSC Heads Attend ATU-Net Int’l Staff Week

To strengthen the institution’s internationalization efforts, Davao de Oro State College sent its academic heads to the ATU-Net International Staff Week (ISW) 2025 at Pampanga State University, Pampanga, on September 10-12, 2025.

Internationalization Unit Head Karesha Faith C. Cañetan, MALE-ENG, and Judith R. Tudy, MAEd, Director for Student Affairs and Services Division, represented the College in the three-day event designed to serve as a platform for meaningful learning and international networking.

Furthermore, the ISW 2025 acted as a driving force for cultural collaboration and the exchange of ideas among participants from universities in Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Bangladesh, along with delegates from various higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines.

Themed “Harmonizing International Efforts in the Region through Holistic Staff Building,” the event included various panel discussions addressing crucial subjects like faculty and staff mobility and exchanges, the development of research, micro-credentials, and the significance of intercultural competence among staff.

Internationalization Unit Head Cañetan emphasized that the ISW afforded DDOSC the opportunity to benchmark best practices and strengthen linkages with partner universities abroad, which will be instrumental in advancing the College’s internationalization agenda.
