Davao de Oro State College convened its Board of Trustees (BOT) for the 50th DDOSC BOT Meeting yesterday, September 30, 2025, at the Davao del Sur State College Board Room at Matti, Digos City.

Hon. Ricmar P. Aquino, PhD, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education and the Chairperson of the DDOSC BOT, presided over the session.

Among the fiscal, academic, and administrative matters discussed during the quarterly meeting were the review of program receipts and expenditures for the National Expenditure Program for Fiscal Year 2026, formalization of MOUs, and the taking of the oath of the newly appointed Private Sector Representatives.

DDOSC-BOT Chair Hon. Aquino led the oathtaking of newly minted BOT members Hon. Debbie G. Terruel, EdD, and Hon. Cheri-Lou R. Aranjuez, MPA.

Additionally, present during the meeting were Hon. Lilybeth M. Matunhay, PhD, SUC President I and Vice-Chairperson of the DDOSC BOT; Hon. Maricar R. Casquejo, CESO III, Regional Director of the Commission on Higher Education Region XI; Hon. Priscilla R. Sonido, CESO III, Regional Director of the Department of Environment and Development Planning Regional Office XI; Hon. Anthony C. Sales, CESO III, Regional Director of the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office XI; Hon. Riesha P. Vale, MAEd, DDOSC Faculty Association President; Hon. Jasper T. Egpit, LPT, Alumni Association President; and Hon. Jomar M. Hagonoy, Student Federation President.

Also in attendance were Jay-R R. Tayaban, Board Secretary V; Junard Gerona, representative from the Office of the College Board Secretary (OCBS); and Maria Raye Madriaga, Executive Assistant Designate from the Office of the SUC President.
