Employees, students join college-wide DDOSC Alay Linis

Davao de Oro State College employees and students came together today for the college-wide Alay Linis cleanup drive, highlighting the institution’s preparations for the Second Semester of SY 2024-2025.
The DDOSC Ecological Solid Waste Management Unit, headed by Engr. Gedrick M. Baliog, facilitated the activity and ensured that campuses in Compostela, Maragusan, Montevista, New Bataan, and Laak were cleaned and ready to welcome students.
Throughout the event, the participants adhered to proper waste segregation guidelines, categorizing waste into three groups: (1) paper, (2) plastic sachets, wrappers, and cups, and (3) plastic bottles.
Additionally, the DDOSC Employees’ Association emphasized that the cleanup drive aligns with the Collective Negotiation Agreement between DDOSC and DDOSCEA, as outlined in the DDOSCEA Calendar for CY 2025.
Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay, DDOSC President, expressed gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and teamwork, highlighting the importance of community efforts in fostering a welcoming environment for students and other stakeholders.
