[IZN UPDATES] Davao de Oro State College continues to broaden its international reach as it officially joins the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) as a member. This milestone, made possible through the DdOSC Internationalization Unit headed by Karesha Faith C. Cañetan, further strengthens the institution’s engagement in global initiatives that advance sustainable development.

Launched by the United Nations in 2012, SDSN mobilizes universities, research institutions, and knowledge centers worldwide to develop and advance practical solutions in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.

Through its membership, DdOSC gains access to a broader international community engaged in research, education, policy development, knowledge exchange, and collaborative action addressing complex sustainable development challenges.

As the Cradle of Golden Opportunities, DdOSC views this membership as another avenue to forge international partnerships, participate in global programs and initiatives, share good practices, and further strengthen the institution’s contribution to the achievement of the UN SDGs.
