QAU caps 1st IQA 2026 at DdOSC Main Campus

In its continuing pursuit of excellence, accountability, and improvement, Davao de Oro State College, through the Quality Assurance Unit, successfully concluded the 1st Internal Quality Audit (IQA) for Calendar Year 2026 for the Main Campus on May 13, 2026, at the Audio-Visual Room.

Held biannually, the IQA aims to maintain DdOSC’s certification and uphold its dedication to quality by assessing the adequacy and performance of key processes.

During the acceptance of the audit results, College President Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay expressed her gratitude to the 37-member internal quality audit team from across the college, led by Engr. Ian Dave P. Corteza, for their commitment, diligence, and keenness to ensure quality standards and institutional effectiveness.

Pres. Matunhay further emphasized that quality assurance remains a shared responsibility among all DdOSCians, stressing that every audit serves not only as an assessment mechanism but also as an opportunity to strengthen processes, improve services, and foster institutional growth.

Meanwhile, the audit findings were classified into several categories: positive findings, conformity, opportunities for improvement, observations, and nonconformities, classified as either major or minor.

Following the Main Campus audit, the collegewide IQA will continue at the DdOSC Montevista and DdOSC Laak Extension on May 18, DdOSC Maragusan on May 19, and DdOSC New Bataan Branch on May 20, 2026.
