DdOSC hailed most active tourism stakeholder by PLGU-DdO
For its active contribution to advancing technology- and innovation-driven tourism development in the province, Davao de Oro State College was recognized by the Provincial Local Government Unit of Davao de Oro (PLGU-DdO) as the Most Active Tourism Stakeholder from the Public Sector on September 25, 2026, at the Activity Hall, Executive Building, Cabidianan, Nabunturan.
The recognition underscored the College’s sustained engagement in provincial tourism initiatives, particularly its efforts to harness innovation and emerging technologies in support of tourism and community development.
Anchored on the theme, “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism,” the celebration featured a Tourism Innovation Exhibit showcasing digital initiatives and technology-driven solutions aimed at strengthening the province’s tourism sector.
During the exhibit, DdOSC presented its digital innovation initiatives and featured its Innovation Hub (iHub), demonstrating how the College provides spaces and opportunities for technology, innovation, and community-oriented solutions.
The event also brought together tourism stakeholders from various sectors to explore the potential of digitalization and artificial intelligence in reshaping tourism promotion, visitor engagement, service delivery, and local development.
