DdOSC joins ‘Handog ng Pangulo’ caravan in Davao de Oro

Davao de Oro State College, through its Student Affairs and Services Division (SASD), participated in the Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat caravan on September 14, 2026, at the Provincial Capitol in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro.

The College joined other government agencies in the province for the multi-agency public service caravan, which was simultaneously conducted in various provinces nationwide to bring government programs and services closer to communities.

Led by SASD Director Judith R. Tudy, the DdOSC contingent took part in the Provincial College and University Fair, where the College provided information and assistance on academic programs, admissions, career guidance, and other opportunities for prospective tertiary students and stakeholders.

Also part of the delegation was Judalyn J. Forro, RPM, MPsych, who provided guidance-related support and information to participants during the caravan.

A major highlight of the event was the ceremonial turnover of ₱50.085 million in UniFAST financial assistance for grantees from DdOSC, Kolehiyo ng Pantukan, and MonCAST.

The assistance was formally turned over by Davao de Oro Governor Hon. Raul G. Mabanglo, 2nd District Representative Hon. Maria-Carmen S. Zamora-Mabanglo, and Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI Director Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo.

In the Davao Region, the Provincial Capitols of Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, Davao Oriental, Davao de Oro, and Davao Occidental served as the main event venues.

Through the activity, DdOSC continued to support efforts to make higher education information, student services, and government assistance more accessible to communities across Davao de Oro.
