Dr. Matunhay joins regionwide graduate employability, alumni tracer forum
Davao de Oro State College President Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay attended the Information Session on Platform for Graduate Employability and Alumni Engagement with Tracer Studies for HEIs in Davao Region today, February 2, 2026, at the Lyceum of the Philippines University – Davao.
The activity was jointly organized by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI (CHED RO-XI) in partnership with SeeMeSOL, a fully integrated Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider specializing in talent sourcing, engagement, and recruitment solutions for higher education institutions (HEIs).
Gathering higher education leaders from across the region, the forum sought to enhance graduate employability through collaborative digital career platforms, fast-track the implementation of CHED-mandated tracer studies, align academic programs with industry and labor market demands, and broaden access to career opportunities throughout Region XI.
CHED RO-XI Regional Director Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo, CESO III, formally opened the session, underscoring the vital role of higher education institutions in developing future-ready graduates who contribute to a strong and sustainable economy.
Following this, SeeMeSOL Senior Consultant Edsel Martinez introduced participating HEI leaders to SeeMeAdvisory, a certification program designed to strengthen and professionalize Career Placement functions within higher education institutions.
Meanwhile, the activity culminated in the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement among HEI presidents, CHED RO-XI, and SeeMeSOL, formalizing the integration of SeeMeSOL’s SaaS platforms into institutional career services, graduate employability initiatives, and alumni tracer systems.
Joining Dr. Matunhay in representing DdOSC were Geber Mae A. Garnica, MAEd, Head of the Alumni Affairs and Services Section, along with Alumni Affairs personnel Rejhon Garrido, Marian C. Mahilum, Janice M. Quiminales, and Maybel M. Clarezon.
